Buttermilk Cherry Panna Cotta

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
- 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups low fat buttermilk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 jar Chukar® Cherries Jubilee Dessert Sauce
Directions
- Combine gelatin and 1 1/2 tablespoons of water in a small bowl. Let stand until the gelatin softens.
- Meanwhile, combine heavy whipping cream with sugar in a small sauce pan over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin while the mixture is still hot. Once the gelatin is completely dissolved, let the mixture cool to slightly above room temperature (stirring occasionally).
- Once cooled, stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Divide between 6 half-cup dishes and refrigerate until set, about four hours. Once set, top with Chukar® Cherries Jubilee Dessert Sauce and serve.
