Chocolate Cherry Soufflé

Ingredients

  • Butter and powdered sugar (for ramekins)
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish
  • ⅓ cup Chukar® Chocolate Cherry Dessert Sauce
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar

Directions

  1. Butter and sugar ramekins. Place in freezer.
  2. Beat egg yolks, vanilla, flour, and salt until frothy.
  3. Stir in warmed Chukar® Chocolate Cherry Dessert Sauce.
  4. Beat together egg whites, sugar, and cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the egg white mixture and egg yolk mixture together.
  6. Spoon into prepared ramekins.
  7. Bake 18-20 minutes at 400° F.
