Sweet Cherry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 jar Chukar® Pie Filling
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of grated nutmeg
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Fill a well-seasoned cast-iron skillet with a jar of Chukar® Pie Filling.
  3. In a bowl, combine the oatmeal, brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  4. Stir in the melted butter and using a pastry cutter or your hands, work dough until it begins to come together.
  5. Sprinkle/spread the crumble topping over the cherry filling.
  6. Bake until crumble top is golden and fruit is bubbly, about 35 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
